Dill for import and its health benefits (Dill) is a plant that has a long history, as people used dill seeds and parts of the plant that grow above the ground as medicine. What are the health benefits of dill herb?

Its benefits
It contains many substances, such as: calcium, and vitamins that give the body great benefits, and among the most important benefits of this dill herb are the following:

  2. Regulating sugar levels
It has long been associated with diabetes, as it contributes to the control of insulin levels, and studies have indicated that the herb may help reduce fluctuations in insulin levels in diabetics, when the herb extract was given for 22 days.
  3. Expel excess gases
One of its benefits is that it is a carminative, as it prevents the accumulation of gases in the intestines and passes them down the digestive system.
  4. Possessing antimicrobial properties
Dill has long been associated with antimicrobial activity, and has been shown to help prevent microbial infections throughout the body, including infections that may result in open or small wounds on the skin.
  5. Treatment of diarrhea
It has properties that aid digestion, which reduces indigestion. It contains monoflavonoids that eliminate germs in the body. This helps in treating diarrhea caused by germs. This is where the benefits of this dill herb lie.

  8. Stimulate menstruation
The flavonoids in dill stimulate the secretion of certain hormones that help maintain proper menstrual cycles in women.
  9. Treatment of respiratory disorders
The flavonoid component in dill essential oils is antihistamine and thus helps relieve allergies and respiratory cough.
  10. Oral care
It is a breath freshener, and it also helps eliminate microbial infections in the mouth.

Its side effects
Herbs are generally safe, but in some rare cases they may cause allergic reactions, and their harmful effects may also include:

Diarrhea.
Itchy mouth.
Vomiting.
Swellings in the throat.
Minor swelling of the tongue.
In addition, it is recommended to avoid its use or extracts during pregnancy and breastfeeding as there is limited research on its safety.

How to use it
There are two types of it, green and dried. The dried is sold with the rest of the spices, but unfortunately the dried lacks the well-known fresh taste and flavor. In order to solve this problem, it is recommended to use a large amount of dried to obtain a taste similar to the fresh green type.
